Deacon Products is situated in the heart of The Black Country – an area renowned for its industrial history.

The company was established in 1973 and was named after its founder, Mr David Connop. David formed Deacon after gaining valuable business experience working at the industrial firm, Connop Brothers. In the early days, Deacon made bespoke chain assemblies on a small scale. The company also sourced a variety of chain and wire rope products locally for its customers.

Over the years, the customer base widened – naturally so did the range and quantity of products stocked. Deacon went from strength to strength, acquiring two other businesses on route: CSB Lifting & Marine and Scarlet Oak Engineering.

Today, Deacon is still run by the Connop family. The company is well-established as a major manufacturer of wire rope and chain assemblies, as well as a stockist of accessories and fittings. The solutions and products that Deacon offer serve a range of industries such as: lifting, marine, agricultural, manufacturing, lighting, safety, commercial vehicle and trailer, fishing and construction.
